Original Version of "Seven Oceans"

Johnny Neon - This is a special version of Seven Oceans... It was the last song I wrote while living in Europe, and traveling ever-constantly to and from the US and Asia (11 years worth 100+X). It is a semi-acoustic version with Tony Ventouris playing a solo I wrote on keyboards exactly as I wrote it, (which is impossible to do on a normal guitar). Tony has his own endorsement, and a very special guitar with seven octaves. If you play guitar, try to play along, you will find that "mid solo" you can't follow him anymore because it goes to high :o) .

Another very cool part of the history involving Seven Oceans, is that the second version (more Rush-like) is my new album, and the song shall appear at #7 on every album I do from now on (in a different style). I intend to share with my fans, and friends, the ability to transcend any style of song to any other style so desired. A great tune, with a really commercial feel to it, and the version for American Dream Part II is.... Big Band :o)
Tony Sciuto

"The Feeling" , is another special song, because yet another celbrity guest is playing the guitar solo on that track. Mr. Tony Sciuto, has his own gold record title, and has played all over the world. Tony was in Uncle Charlies band on TV "Full House" (or I should say he was the band, lol), and he was also part of one of the original line-up of "The Little River Band."

Explanation of "Love So Far Away" track 4 from "American Dream Part I"

Demian Bell

"Love so far away" - was the song that got the record deal offer, as it was written for my son Collin, that meant a lot ! then to take it one step farther, I invited a celebrity guest to play guitar on the track. Mr. Demian Bell, has three gold records, and most of the world knows his guitar playing from the song "Brown eyed girl" , with Van Morisson.

American Dream Part I ~ promotion pack

A time has come when everything has evolved to a mature state, the production is getting enormous, and the concept tightens with each day passing. Now, I have some of the most experienced, distinguished, ears in the industry listening, and enjoying, and supporting, my compositions, I am rapidly approaching the need to record, and time capsulize "American Dream Part II" , video story boarding has also been taken to the next level, and somewhere at my label they are working on my TV Trailer, and 15second national commercials to be aired on Nov. 15th, 2011. We shall also be aired on 40,000 networks in one day (that is billions of people) on the 15th, and released on iTunes, Rhapsody, Napster, E-1, Walmart Music, Target Music, Best Buy Music, and many many others (all of em). Secondly, the trip which shall lock in our film production crew is rapidly arriving, then Vegas for the stage work and papers... the Nashville to meet and break bread with the investors, lawyers, and management teams... Then back here (FL), and my last week of business from a desk (AMEN- God is Good), and finally, I shall delegate all powers to the "official" management team. My poor band, the day after that, we are all in the studio for days 9-5 working it !!!!!

National Press Release USA ~ 9-11-2011

Englewood, FL – Local talented musician, Johnny Neon, will be releasing his new album “American Dream – Part I” on Sunday, September 11, 2011.  American Dream is designed to be a rock-opera style production, which highlights a patriotic, non-political musical message with a modern rock sound.  Neon was inspired by Roger Water’s masterpiece “The Wall” of Pink Floyd Fame.  Neon’s new effort has captured a sound and feeling that is moving, inspirational, yet instantly familiar, infused with soothing melodies.  Neon is developing a full multimedia stage production, with film, laser lights, and pyrotechnics and is planning a tour in early 2012 as well.

Each track on the new album speaks to an aspect of what makes living in America great!  The musical arrangements and vocal mixes are very reminiscent of Robert Plant’s early 80’s solo efforts of Led Zeppelin fame, modern rockers Cold Play, and the track “Uncle Sam” sounds like something you would find on  The Beatles “White Album”.

The official release of “American Dream – Part I” will be deliberately held on 9/11.  Neon hopes releasing his music on that day will help remind all of us that we do live in the greatest country in the world, in spite adversity, through our diversity, the United States of America is just as strong and united as we have ever been! The American Dream is still alive and well…

Songs like the title track, “American Dream”, as well as others like “Uncle Sam”, are destine to become instant classics, receiving airplay around the world.  It is Neon’s hope that his music helps to unite the country and becomes a positive force that all American’s can embrace.  The lyrics are patriotic, yet non-political, which going into a major election year, will appeal to Republicans, Democrats, Independents, and even The Tea Party people alike…
